Work Type: Full Time
About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Manager – Data Science to lead our efforts in building and scaling PriceLabs’ core algorithmic and data-driven offerings. PriceLabs is a market leader in dynamic pricing and market research products for the travel and hospitality industry, and we are looking for a technical product leader to drive the next generation of our intelligence layer.

This role is pivotal in evolving our pricing capabilities from heuristic-based adjustments to advanced, machine learning-driven solutions — building a robust, scalable product stream that delivers clear value to property managers and hosts through data-backed confidence.

As the Data Science Product Manager, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end product vision and strategy for data products within PriceLabs, focusing on how predictive modeling and advanced analytics can drive competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with Data Science to research, develop, and optimize our dynamic pricing algorithms, ensuring they are performant, explainable, and aligned with market dynamics.
  • Translate complex data outputs into intuitive product enhancements — from model-driven pricing recommendations to sophisticated data visualizations and reporting.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, and other product managers to ensure seamless integration of data science models into the broader PriceLabs platform, maintaining high standards for data integrity and system latency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a long-term data product strategy, balancing experimental research with the delivery of foundational model improvements.
  • Identify, scope, and deliver iterative algorithmic enhancements to better serve our diverse user base — including demand forecasting, seasonality modeling, and price elasticity engines.
  • Partner with Data Science to design, back-test, and roll out model improvements, managing the trade-offs between model complexity and operational scalability.
  • Conduct customer and market research to deeply understand how users interact with automated systems and where data science can solve their most complex revenue management pain points.
  • Prioritize the data science product backlog based on statistical impact, technical feasibility, and alignment with company-wide North Star metrics.
  • Define clear success metrics (e.g., error reduction, conversion lift, and user trust) and track the real-world business impact of our models.
  • Produce and maintain technical product documentation, including PRDs that clearly define hypothesis testing, data requirements, and model acceptance criteria.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or an equivalent technical field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a heavy focus on technical or data-centric products.
  • Proven track record of working on pricing, AI/ML, or analytics-heavy products where the core value proposition is derived from data.
  • Strong experience collaborating with Data Science teams to ship impactful features, including an understanding of the ML lifecycle (EDA, training, deployment, and monitoring).
  • Prior experience in the hospitality, travel, or rental industry is a plus, but we prioritize candidates with a deep intuition for marketplace dynamics and revenue management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to query data (SQL/Python), interpret statistical significance, and turn complex feedback into actionable product decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable "translating" complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and global teams.
