About the Role:
- Overseeing the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and budgeting.
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations and laws, including the preparation of financial statements and other reports that are required for external auditing and regulatory compliance.
- Managing and leading the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve financial management and decision-making.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders to help drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to understand and manage the financial impact of their activities on the company.
- Staying informed of industry trends and developments in accounting and finance, and incorporating them into the company's financial strategy.
- Managing financial relationships with banks and other financial institutions, including arranging finance and managing cash flow.
- Identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing plans to improve profitability.
- Work closely with upper management to ensure that budgets and financial targets are met.
- Continuously monitor the company's financial performance and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field is required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a SaaS company or similar industry
- A strong understanding of US GAAP, and experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting are also required.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to think strategically.
